Senior Process Engineer (m/f/d)

Location: Gdansk Employment: Full-time employee Entry date: 23.02.2026

Your tasks
  • Process engineering support for projects (responsibility for deadlines, costs, and process engineering) as Lead Engineer
  • Creation of a concept design (preliminary stage to basic engineering); development of PFDs and building layouts, process optimizations, etc.
  • Execution of basic engineering; design of plants and equipment (pumps, filters, tanks), fittings (pressure reducers, control and safety valves), pipeline dimensioning
  • Creation of media consumption lists
  • Responsibility for implementing regulatory requirements (GMP, FDA, etc.)
  • Creation of functional specifications
  • Detailed engineering; process engineering review of 3D models Commissioning (international)
  • Support in the qualification of plants
  • Support in the CE marking certification process
 

Your profile
  • Completed technical education in the fields of process engineering or biotechnology (university of applied sciences, university, etc.)
  • At least 10 years of experience in the planning and qualification of biotechnological plants in the pharmaceutical sector
  • COMOS knowledge or a strong interest in acquiring it
  • First aid certification is an advantage
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office (including MS Visio)
  • Negotiable written and spoken English and German skills (additional foreign languages, e.g., Russian, French, are an advantage)
  • Willingness to travel internationally (50–60%), sometimes for several weeks at a time
  • An independent, responsible, and solution-oriented approach to work, the ability to work in a team, and a communicative and organized personality round off your profile
